A Cabin Weekend

A few weeks ago our family headed up to my Dad and Beth's cabin for a nice, relaxing weekend.  It's always nice to take a step back, unwind, and enjoy nature for a few days.

We read books:

We made pancakes:

We took walks....

 ...and found deer "feet".  Addy became quite fixated on the deer foot, and kept bringing conversations back to, "Why was there a deer foot back there?"

We went on four-wheeler rides:

(And no, these two most certainly did NOT ride together!)

We rang the triangle:

And last, but not least, we shot our guns:

We all stood next to our targets at the end and had Beth vote on who did the best.  I won :)

We attempted a whole family photo... and it worked!  It was quite the miraculous event, because everyone was looking and everyone was smiling!
